I teach women how to stop the war with their bodies and help them feel empowered in their everyday lives.

As a personal trainer and nutritionist who has been in the fitness industry for almost a decade, I’ve helped hundreds of women become stronger, both mentally and physically, through exercise and simple nutrition strategies. I’ve made it my mission to help my clients take away the stress that is brought on by chronic dieting and restrictive programs.

My purpose is to help women learn sustainable fat loss methods that work for THEM. You won’t find any cookie cutter programs here. Each of my clients gets a customized approach to fat loss which includes learning value of self-love and self-respect, because you simply can’t have a successful and sustainable fat loss journey without a lotta love for YOU.

After going on diet after diet for 15 years of my life and endlessly trying to lose weight, I developed body image issues and a severe binge eating habit. I finally hit a point where I had enough. The diets weren’t working, the hours of exercise weren’t doing me any good and I realized I had to try something different. I set out on a mindset journey that changed how I looked at, and thought about, food, my body and my self-worth. It was single handedly the most important thing I’ve done for myself thus far and I’ve made it my mission to help my clients do the same.

I make myself highly accessible to you as my client so you’ll never feel like you’re going it alone. I want to be with you every step of the way. I’ll teach you how to live a healthy life on your terms without restriction, deprivation or extreme measures. We will work closely together to find what works for YOU.

xo,
Lauren

When you really think about it, it sounds crazy to keep doing something that isn’t getting us the results we want, rather than try something new that may work even better. Yet, that's exactly what we do! Humans are creatures of habit, so it's no surprise that this is our pattern, but I'm here to give you permission to STOP THE MADNESS!

I can’t tell you how many of my clients come to me because they tried the 21 Day Fix repeatedly and didn’t get (or didn’t maintain) the results. Same with Whole 30, same with Weight Watchers, same with any other fad or popularized weight loss system out there.

What I want to help people see is that it’s not YOU that isn’t good at dieting, it’s the SYSTEM you’re trying to make work.

I mean, think about it: Over 90% of people who DIET their way to weight loss end up regaining the weight they lost. So my question is, WHY ARE WE STILL DIETING?! My suggestion? Find what works FOR YOU, not what worked for Oprah, or your friend, or Beyonce.
How?

Option #1: You can do it alone, but unless you have a TON of patience to go through the trial and error, the education to know where to start, the experience to know what changes to make and when, chances are good (like, really good) that you're going to get even more frustrated and confused and wind up back on the diet bandwagon.

Option #2: Get in with someone who already has the experience and education to do the dirty work for you! This is the biggest benefit to hiring a coach, TBH. This is exactly what our job is: Listening to your dieting history, getting to the bottom of your goals, and setting you up with a plan.

But not just any plan. It has to be A 100% CUSTOMIZED PLAN. Because remember, what get your friend results is going to be a lot different than what gets you results, so to simply follow the masses and do what they're doing because they got results is actually doing yourself a huge disservice.

You owe it to yourself to find out YOUR secret formula to fat loss.

To do that, click link in my bio and set up a free phone call with me. We'll chat about you goals and figure out how we can work together to get you where you want to be!

When I was deep in the throws of food obsession and binge eating a few years back, I remember knowing for SURE I was going to fall off track when the weekend hit.
.
The weekend meant I was off of my normal routine, and if I wasn't 100% ON, I was 100% OFF.
.
Going to my parents house (which I did most weekends) was almost a guaranteed binge because they had all the foods I wouldn't allow myself to buy and I felt like I had no control.
.
I didn't know how to have just two cookies. I had to have 10.
.
I didn't know how to have just a few peanut butter pretzels. I had to have 5 handfuls.
.
After visiting their house, I'd usually stop at the grocery store and that's where things would really get crazy...
.
Oreos and ice cream were my drug of choice at the time and those suckers went down FAST.
.
Then I was left bloated, sick and feeling like a total loser.
.
Why was it so hard for me to just eat like a normal person?
.
Why couldn't I eat just one cookie, or just a few peanut butter pretzels?
.
Why couldn't I have a few scoops of ice cream and save the rest for later?
.
As it tuns out, I COULD. It took me a few years to figure it all out, but I could (and did) do it.
.
Why do I share this (and I'll admit it's a little scary!)?
.
BECAUSE I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.
.
90% of the time when someone joins my 1:1 coaching program, it's because of this very reason.
.
They feel like they have no control over food.
.
They feel like they just can't stop eating certain foods once they start.
.
They feel intense guilt and embarrassment for what they do, but they just don't know how to stop it.
.
Binge eating isn't something we talk about. It's something we hide. It's something that kind of hangs out in the shadows and attacks when the time is right- usually when we're alone. It's something I know A LOT of women struggle with, and I'm here to tell you- You don't have to struggle anymore.
.
If this sounds like you ⬆️ and you're struggling, know that you're not the only one. Send me a message NOW. Let's talk about how to break you out of the struggle!

My binge eating had finally caught up to me. I was no longer at the point of being able to
My binge eating had finally caught up to me. I was no longer at the point of being able to "exercise off" the food I was eating, although I still tried. . I was a slave to the gym, a slave to my food scale, a slave to my meal plan, and also completely and utterly uncontrollable around peanut butter, Nutella, trail mix, pizza, candy, Pop-Tarts and wine. . I felt like two different people: On the one hand, I was a personal trainer and nutritionist who loved exercise and wanted to look and feel healthy, and was responsible for teaching my clients to do the same. On the other hand, I was terrified of gaining weight, terrified of eating the wrong things and terrified of what people would think if they knew my binge eating secret. . In May of 2013, my sister was getting married. I was the Maid of Honor. I had to stand in front of 100+ people during the ceremony then again at the reception to give my speech, and, instead of being focused on the amazing day that it was, I was embarrassed and insecure about what people would think about my body. . In hindsight, I know no one was looking at me. My sister was the most exquisite bride I've ever seen (for real- she was flawless), and she and her new husband were (and still are) a beautiful couple. . But that's what body obsession does to us, doesn't it? We obsess and overthink about every little thing that's "wrong" with us and assume everyone else does, too. . Today, I can't remember the last time I felt uncomfortable in my skin. . I can't remember the last time I thought "I hope so and so doesn't judge me because I weigh x number of pounds." . I can't remember the last time I thought "I hope my doctor doesn't have to tell me that my weight has gone up...again..." . And it's all because I DID THE WORK. The hard stuff. The stuff most diet and exercise programs skip over. I joined a program that brought me from food obsessed to food freedom and it dug DEEP into the reason why I was bingeing, why I was self-sabotaging, and why I felt so out of control around food. . (Continued in the comments)
My day yesterday was about as far from being
My day yesterday was about as far from being "fat loss friendly" as one could get. Fries with blue cheese fondue... . Short rib hash with all the potatoes... . Alcohol...so much freaking alcohol... . And not surprisingly, I woke up today feeling less than optimal 😉 . So the way I look at it, I have two choices: . 1. Say Screw It! And eat more c rap, drink more drinks (it *is* a day off, afterall!) And skip the gym because the damage has already been done Or 2. Drink a ton of water, eat as normal, nap, and get my butt to the gym. . Which do you think I chose?? . Here's the thing...we're gonna screw up. We're gonna choose less than ideal food and drink options. We're going to want to throw in the towel and start again tomorrow. But my FRESH, FIT & FEARLESS peeps? They don't do that, and neither do I. . We just right back on the horse at the next available moment and move on. .
